I’m managing a few projects, and we’ve been having issues because procurement can’t keep up with our deadlines. It’s causing a lot of last-minute scrambling to get approvals and materials. Does anyone have advice on how to connect procurement with project management better so that everything flows more smoothly?

I found an article that explains how to get procurement and project management working together. It offers practical advice on setting up processes that reduce delays and improve communication between teams. I used some of the strategies from the post, and it made a noticeable difference in how we handle projects now. If you're looking for some tips, you can read it on here. It helped me organize everything much better.
I hear you. It’s tough when procurement is constantly playing catch-up. One way to solve that is by getting procurement involved right at the beginning of the project. If they know the scope and timeline from day one, they can plan better and meet deadlines. It’s also helpful to have regular check-ins between the two teams.
